About Rasmussen Farms

We're a small family farm in North Ogden, Utah, raising good food the way we'd want it for our own family and our kids. We started with laying hens and beehives back in 2018–2019, and added pastured meat chickens in 2023.

Our hens live on pasture and eat organic feed. The flock has grown from 10 birds to 25. Our bees make truly local North Ogden honey. We've learned through courses, online instruction, and a lot of hands-on seasons, and we keep up with state hive inspections. We farm with regenerative practices: rotating birds on fresh pasture to build the soil.

Today we offer farm fresh eggs, local honey, meat chickens, elderberry syrup, and sourdough starts. We also rent out our chicken plucker kit and honey extractor to other backyard farmers in northern Utah. Someday we hope to add pastured beef.
